CM Performances Quarter Horses is recognised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport and is able to offer training for a BPJEPS, Western Equestrian Activity. This diploma, which replaced the BEES I in 2005, enables its holder to be a professional Western riding teacher.

 

During the training for the diploma, the following skills are developed :

 

• being in charge of a project which both introduces the discipline and the develops it to a high standard

 

• welcoming the public to the site, organising and promoting its activities

 

• taking part in the daily care of the horses and the organisationof the stable

 

• taking part in the organisation and management of the equestrian activities

 

• evaluating horses and workers with a view to satisfying the site's customer

 

 

At CM Quarter Horses the training for the diploma takes place over 2 years starting in September. The pupil teachers who are selected will spend a month of their training period in North Carolina, USA, at Sunny Pines Farm, which is run by our partner François Gauthier.
